Adding Bucket Displays To Your Convenience Store Candy Aisles

Posted by Jerry on 5/22/2012 to Display Racks
Right now, you are probably displaying gum, candy bars, licorice, and boxed candy in the cardboard cartons they were shipped in to your convenience store. These boxes line wire racks in the candy aisle and below the checkout counter, creating a very unimpressive display. Go professional by replacing these with acrylic bucket displays to begin experiencing an increase in sales.

Acrylic buckets are perfect for holding individually wrapped or boxed candy because they feature sturdy construction and wide mouths. Bucket racks allow you to display these containers on shelves, countertops, and even freestanding on the floor. Counter racks are available that hold six, eight, nine, or ten buckets, stacking these in two or three rows to create an organized and eye-catching display.

The white racks feature a sturdy frame and buckets of the compatible size are provided. These containers are large enough to hold individually wrapped licorice and jawbreakers, candy necklaces, small boxes of Junior Mints, and even packages of Fun Dip. Set up different racks for chocolate candies, chewy/gummy treats, hard candies, and novelties so customers can easily find what they want.

A 30-bucket rotating rack is ideal for a store that needs its counter space for other purposes. This rack sits on the floor and measures 60 inches high and 20 inches wide, creating an impressive display in a small footprint. The five levels of sturdy wire framing are easy to assemble and each level displays six 5x7-inch buckets with lids. This unit is also lightweight so it can be moved to different areas of the store without need for assistance. Put it by the checkout lines to encourage impulse sales or move it to the entryway to clear out old inventory.

A beach bucket style display is perfect for larger candy products like movie theater boxes and large swirled lollipops. The wire rack sits on the counter and holds six 80-ounce buckets that measure 5.5 inches high and 6.5 inches deep. The display unit may be compact but these buckets are massive. If there is not enough candy to fill these, add small toys that will attract young shoppers.

When these bucket racks and containers are used in convenience stores, customers cannot help but satisfy their sweet tooth. Wire bucket racks look much nicer than cardboard boxes and the plastic buckets are much more durable. These displays pay for themselves relatively quickly, contributing more money to the bottom line in no time.
